CLUB FINALS 2024

CLUB FINALS 21st and 22nd SEPTEMBER 2024

 Saturday was forecast to be a very rainy day but fortunately we had a warm sunny day that was enjoyed by the many spectators and players alike.

         There were nine finals to be held,  Three finals were held on Saturday morning and four in the afternoon. Additionally the Juniors held their finals in the morning under the guidance of Sid Steel,  For a report go to JUNIORS. It was intended to hold two finals on Sunday.  The Warren Cup and the Davis Cup. Unfortunately there was heavy rain and so they were played on Saturday 28th September 2024.

          The bowling was enjoyed by everyone and thanks go to those who provided the various facilities including Sue Wood who provided refreshments  and Margaret Thorne was barmaid.  Gill Budd arranged the whole weekend,

            Congratulations to our Ladies' Champion Emily Thomas who won the Rose Bowl and to our Men's Champion Richard White who won the Holroyd Bowl.
