FRIDAY NIGHT MIXED TRIPLES 2025

This seasons winners were the Kestrels team captained by Terry Elston. Congratulations to them all.

WEDNESDAY LEAGUE

The Wednesday League  meets every week at 1.30pm for a 2 pm start.  Dress code is a white top and navy or grey below the waist.  Depending on numbers the members are split into teams by drawing lots.  So as a result it can be rinks, triples or pairs.  The play is for all abilities and is played in a relaxed style over fifteen ends.  It is a great way of meeting other members. There is a charge of £3 for the session which includes tea and biscuits.  If you are a new or existing member please come along and enjoy a relaxed afternoon.  It is organised by Ian Wood and Terry Elston.  See Bowl R for contacts.

PHIL COLLIER CUP 2025

20 competitors took part in this competition on a sunny September Sunday. Pairs were drawn and played a round robin of four games in two groups.

The winners of these groups played in the final which was a closely matched and entertaining game.

Overall winners were Barry Males & Colin Pickering. Runners Up, Sylvie Pink & John Harding.

Thank you to Pat Griffin for organising, ably assisted by Brian & Jan Hall.

Trophies were presented by Joan Collier.
